Tech Editing

BluePip Designs is happy to offer tech editing services for your quilt patterns!  I can help you polish your pattern and get it ready for publication.

When you send me your pattern, I will be checking the following things:

• Quilt Math, including yardage requirements and cutting instructions
• Clearness in both written directions and diagrams
• Continuity Errors (does Piece A suddenly become Piece E later on?)
• Grammatical and Spelling Errors

It is preferred that your pattern be submitted as a PDF file. All notes will be annotated on the PDF file so that you can incorporate them however you wish.

Turnaround time and time to do the tech edit will depend on the length and complexity of your pattern.  The fee for tech editing is $25/hour, billed in 5 minute increments.
